The PR & Social Media team is riding high after being crowned Gatesman’s Q3 Team of the Quarter, and we’re ready to spill all the details on why we’ve earned this swaggering recognition. Spoiler alert: it's all about the Power of the Wolfpack. 🐺

Team Accomplishments: Elevating the Game

From team promotions to award-winning campaigns and community engagements, our team crushed it this quarter. We won three shiny new pieces of hardware at the PRSA Chicago Skyline Awards, making waves across client industries. We also highlighted employee retention through milestone anniversaries—because celebrating our team’s longevity matters!

But the impact didn’t stop there. From expert insights delivered during the team’s Media Relations Lunch & Learn workshop to showcasing our learnings from the 2024 Meltwater Summit, we covered the full spectrum of leadership and team learning.

Leading by Example: Accolades and Speaking Gigs

Our crew didn’t just get work done—we put ourselves on the map. We participated as a judge in the PRNews Platinum Global Awards and had our own nominations rolling in, including Pennsylvania’s Women We Admire accolade. Speaking requests also came pouring in for key industry events, including:

  • PRSA Pittsburgh Women in PR Brunch
  • The PRSSA Duquesne Rising Currents Conference
  • PRSA Cleveland Student Day
  • Senior seminar presentations at SRU
  • And participation as a Kent State University Campaigns Adviser

Campaigns to Brag About

The team was firing on all cylinders this quarter with some major campaigns. The launch of the Center for Organ Recovery & Education macro event strategy and execution stands out as one of our boldest efforts yet, and it’s just the beginning. Our Oktoberfest Pittsburgh presser made a splash, securing press in nearly every media outlet in Pittsburgh.

Influencer marketing? We crushed it with hot collaborations like florence by mills and Pair Eyewear for National Vision, and USG influencers were all over Instagram. And we’re keeping our long-term partnership with CNX alive with retainer and video work that keeps both sides smiling.

Publicity Agents: Always Elevating the Agency

Our team consistently puts the agency in the spotlight. We locked in a stellar placement for Susan English’s mental health article, “An Industry Wakeup Call: If Social Media is the New Smoking, What Does that Mean for Advertisers?;” and our No Nametags podcast is gaining momentum with more than 200 downloads in about a month’s time.

Opportunity Hunters: Growing Big and Winning Big

With growth top of mind, our team generated a +$500K bump in agency gross income. We also supported new business efforts to push overall team goals and objectives even further.

Looking Forward: Keeping the Momentum

As we round out the year, the PR & Social Media team is not slowing down. We have our heads down, focused on results. 💥 Keep watching us – Q4, you’re up next!
